LAHORE:A labourer was killed and two others injured when a wall of an under-construction house collapsed in DHA Phase VII, Lahore, Rescue 1122 said on Monday.
According to a spokesperson, the incident occurred behind McDonald’s in DHA Phase VII, where a wall being constructed for the foundation of a house suddenly collapsed, trapping the workers under the debris.
The deceased was identified as 43-year-old Ramzan, son of Ghulam Nabi, while the injured were identified as 50-year-old Riaz, and 42-year-old Nadeem, the spokesperson said.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene after receiving information, provided first aid to the injured and shifted them to Farooq Hospital for further treatment. The body of the deceased was handed over to his heirs, the spokesperson added.
