ATTOCK:One person shot dead and two others critically injured in two separate incidents on Sunday in Hassanabdal, according to police and hospital sources.
In the first incident, a 31-year-old man, Zareen Gujjar, was brutally murdered in the Shhyia area due to an old enmity. The police said that two masked men ambushed Zareen near the Haro bridge and showering him with bullets, who died on the spot.
In a separate incident, a land dispute between rival groups in village Kot Sondaki turned violent, leaving two men, Sadiq and Naeem, with bullet injuries. Both injured were rushed to Rawalpindi for treatment after initial care at the tehsil headquarters hospital.
Hassanabdal Police have registered separate cases and launched further investigation.
