KHANEWAL:Khanewal police claimed to have arrested a drug peddler and recovered drugs worth Rs 7 million from his possession, here on Sunday.
Working on tip off, a police party led by SHO Sadar Police Rao Zeeshan intercepted a car near 116/15L and arrested alleged drug peddler Muhammad Imran son of Muhammad Ramzan resident of Manik Haraj.
The police seized 27.5 kilograms of opium and 16.5 kilograms of charas from his possession.
Police registered the case and started further investigation.
