PESHAWAR: Pak-Afghan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PAJCCI) Vice President
Zia -ul- Haq Sarhadi welcomed Aqeel Siddique as the latter took charge as Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office (RTO) Peshawar.
According to a press release issued here on Friday, Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi called on the chief Commissioner RTO Peshawar and congratulated him over his appointment. Additional Commissioner Bahadar Sher Afridi was also present on the occasion.
During discussion, Zia expressed the hope that Aqeel Siddique would take measures to support the business community.
He also apprised him on the working of Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) in redressing the grievances of the business community.
It is pertinent to mention here that Zia Sarhadi also holds the position of Honorary Media Affairs Coordinator in Federal Tax Ombudsman.
The PAJCCI VP also showed commitment to work closely with the RTO for smooth functioning of tax collection measures. He also urged for maintaining close liaison between tax officers and business community.
Aqeel thanked Zia Sarhadi for his visit and assured him of full cooperation to the business community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that businesspersons could approach him any time for conveying any problem faced by them and he would try his best to address their issues.
