KARACHI:Total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at $ 12 billion, says State Bank of Pakistan.
SBP’s weekly statement issued here on Thursday said that on Dec. 16, the foreign reserves holding with State Bank were $ 6,116.2 million.
The net foreign reserves with commercial banks amounted to $ 5,883.9 million.
During the week ending on Dec. 16, SBP’s reserves decreased by $ 584 million to $ 6,116.2 million due to external debt repayment.
