KARACHI: Total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at $ 14. 4140 6 billion, says State Bank of Pakistan.
SBP’s weekly statement issued here on Thursday said that on July 22, the foreign reserves holding by State Bank were $ 8, 575. 1 million. Whereas, the net foreign reserves with commercial banks amounted to $ 5, 839. 5 million.
During the week ending on July 22, SBP’s reserves decreased by $ 754 million to $ 8, 575. 1 million due to external debt and other payments.
