Islamabad: Chairperson of the CM Punjab Task Force on Skills Development and MPA Adnan Afzal Chattha Wednesday said that under the CM Punjab vision, the ‘Parwaz Card 2026’ will transform youth opportunities by offering secure, skill-based certification and financial independence to approximately 45,000 individuals in first phase.
While speaking to a private news channel, he explained that Punjab government, under the CM’s vision has declared 2026 as the year for youth and launched a transparent online system to streamline access to international employment opportunities, ensuring the process is fair, efficient and accessible.
He said loans will be given to those with an employment letter and applicants must be permanent Punjab residents with valid CNIC, meet age criteria, not be loan defaulters and, where required have active tax status and a verified foreign job offer.
‘Parwaaz Card’ Registration Portal will reduce reliance on middlemen, protect applicants from fraud and promote safe and legal overseas employment, he added.
He further stated that the government will support those without resources and dissuade people from attempting to go abroad through illegal channels.
He said the initial loan amount is Rs 10 lakh and repayment will be deducted at less than 30% of the salary of those who go abroad, adding that the government will provide skills training, certify them and help them secure legal placements with overseas companies.
Responding a query, he said that all vocational training programs have been brought on board for this purpose in whole Punjab.
To another question, he said this program will not take any break on the directives of the Chief Minister and will continue to expand, saying the initiative will consistently facilitate and transform youth by providing financial support, skills development and meaningful opportunities for professional growth.
