ISLAMABAD:With an aim to improve the standard of basketball in the country, Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBBF) would hold coaching workshops in various cities under International Basketball Federation (FIBA) program.
Similarly under FIBA program PBBF held a two-day coaching workshop titled ‘FIBA Basketball for Good program’ which concluded in Multan on Sunday.
The workshop was attended by players and coaches and was organised under the supervision of Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBBF) Secretary General Khalid Bashir while Riaz Malik, the head coach of the national basketball team, along with other coaches Saadat Jahangir, Muhammad Naveed give lectures and demonstration on coaching skills, training, modern techniques and basketball games in different sessions to the participants, said a press release.
FIBA Basketball for Good program was aimed at helping participants to understand the relationship between a coach and the players.
At the end of the coaching workshop, certificates were distributed among the participants by Khalid Bashir along with Chief Executive of Lucky Beverages Chaudhry Sajjad Ali.
