PDWP approves 10 development schemes worth of Rs 27605m

Lahore: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) in its 8th meeting of current financial year, here Tuesday, approved 10 development schemes worth of Rs: 27605 Million of different sectors.



Presided over by Planning and Development Board Chairman Dr. Naeem Rauf, the meeting approved following development schemes of different sectors:



Construction of Judicial Complex at Ferozewala, District Sheikhupura (Revised).Cost Rs. 1,781 million



Construction of New Blocks at Punjab House Murree. (Revised) Cost Rs.1,269 million



Establishment of Garment Cities in Punjab. (Revised) Cost Rs.4,569 million Chief Minister Meal Programme for enrolled special students in Special Education Institutions working across the Punjab. (Revised) Cost Rs.1,070 million Establishment of Maryam Nawaz Institute of cardiology Gujranwala. Cost Rs.14,000 million Storm Water Drainage System from Haji Camp to River Ravi Lahore. (Revised) Cost Rs. 4,916 million Position papers of following development schemes also approved in 8th PDWP meeting Establishment of Business Development Cell and IT Strengthening of TAM Department



Establishment of Strategic Management Unit at Tourism, Archaeology, and Museums Department



Establishment of Tourism and Heritage Development Force For Revival of Built Heritage Chief Minister’s Program for Creation of Model Villages (Misali Gaon) Secretary PandD Board Rafaqat Ali, Chief Economist Dr. Farrukh Naveed, Members PandDB and others concerned Officers of different departments participated.
