Lahore: The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has decided to install digital cameras in the schools run by it. According to PEF official sources, this project will be completed with the cooperation of Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), under which the enrollment and attendance of students will be monitored by installing digital cameras in schools. PEF Managing Director Muhammad Shahid said that the installation of digital cameras will start this year. He said that face recognition technology will be used under the modern system, through which the attendance of students can be recorded through facial recognition.
