LAHORE:The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) imposed ban sale and purchase of spices manufacturing unit over violation of the provincial food regulations.
According to a PFA spokesperson here, the authority lodged a case against the food business operators in the respective police station besides confiscating 600-kg tainted chilli. The raid was conducted under the supervision of PFA Director General Mudassar Riaz Malik in Canal Bank Society. An abundance of insects, poor cleanliness arrangements and incomplete labelling on packing was found during the raid.
