LAHORE:The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Friday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Aleem Dar Cricket Academy for the promotion of cricket at grass root level.
PHA Director General Zeshan Javed, cricketer Aleem Dar signed the MoU at Jilani Park under which cricket and young relent of the country will be promoted.
On this occasion, the DG said that PHA was making efforts to enhance the green areas of the city, besides promoting sports activates, adding that sports activities was essential for young generation. He said all public parks and green belts were being upgraded by replacing old plants to improve recreational and entertainment facilities.
Dar appreciated the role of PHA in that regards and thanked the authority for providing all its support.
