RAWALPINDI:The Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi has planned to establish washroom facilities at Rawal Park, Potohar Park and Qari Khushi Muhammad Park to improve basic facilities for visitors.
Under the plan, each park will have a washroom facility measuring 15 feet by 20 feet, covering an area of 300 square feet.
The facilities will be developed under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) arrangement, under which a private company or investor will be responsible for construction, operation, and maintenance.
The initial operating period will be four years, with a possible extension of another four years by mutual consent.
The initiative aims to provide better public facilities for families and other visitors and improve the overall recreational environment at the three parks.
