ISLAMABAD:Pharmacy Services and Drug Control, Health Department, ICT, has directed all pharmacies to strictly observe the federal government-approved prices of two influenza vaccines, warning that overcharging would invite legal action under the applicable law.
According to the department, the approved retail price of Virionza, imported by LDS, is Rs1,304, while Influ, imported by SMC, is priced at Rs1,304.50.
The department warned that pharmacies selling the vaccines above the approved prices would face strict legal action in accordance with the relevant laws.
It urged the public to report any instance of overcharging through its designated email address at [email protected] to help ensure compliance with the approved prices and protect consumers from exploitation.
