SARGODHA: A proclaimed offender (PO) was killed in a police encounter while his two compliance manged to escape from the scene near 137/138-NB under the jurisdiction of Shah Nikdur police station, here on Saturday.
Police were informed that PO Ehsanullah had fired at the house of Muhammad Nawaz in 168/171-NB over an old enmity.
A team of Shah Nikdur Police, under the supervision of Station House Officer (SHO) Nasir Shah, conducted a raid to arrest the most wanted accuse. Seeing police party, the PO opened fire on it. The fire was retaliated by the police in chich Ehsanullah was killed.
Ehsan was wanted to police in several murder case in Khushab and Sargodha districts.
