RAWALPINDI: The district police on the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police, Operations Rawalpindi have conducted raids in different areas and netted 10 outlaws for possessing 45 liters liquor, five 30 bore pistols and ammunition.
According to a police spokesman, R.A.Bazar, Race Course, and Saddar Wah police held Aqeel, Shahid, Tahir, Naqash and Yasir and recovered 45 liters liquor from their possession.
The spokesman informed that Waris Khan, Sadiqabad, Westridge, Gujar Khan and Dhamial police conducted raids in their respective jurisdiction and rounded up Numan, Zia ul Haq, Usman and others on recovery of five 30 bore pistols and ammunition.
The SSP said that strict action in accordance with the law was being taken against the lawbreakers and operations against aerial firing and illegal weapon holders would continue.
