LAHORE:The General Bus Stand (Lari Adda) police on Sunday arrested a man for allegedly attempting to claim prize money by presenting a tampered Rs.750 prize bond at a private bank.
According to police, the accused, identified as Suba Khan,approached the bank and sought payment,claiming that his prize bond had won a prize.
However,verification revealed that the serial number on the bond was invalid, prompting the bank to alert the police.
Acting on the information,the police arrested the accused and registered a case against him.
