Sargodha: Police arrested 23 proclaimed offenders during an on going crackdown across the district here on Thursday
According to a spokesperson, raiding teams from various police stations conducted targeted operations and apprehended accused including Naeem, Nabeel, Wajahat, Wasim, Waqas, Muzamil, Saadullah, Saeedullah, Rehmatullah, Saleem, Khalid, Khadim, and others.
Police recovered a huge cache of contraband and weaponry from their possession, including 211 liters of liquor, 32 liters of wine, 3.4 kilograms of hashish, 2.4 kilograms of opium, 2 kilograms of ice (methamphetamine), along with 12 pistols, 4 rifles, 3 guns, 3 Kalashnikovs, 188 bullets, and valuables worth millions of rupees.
Officials stated that the arrested proclaimed offenders were wanted by police in various heinous crime cases, including murder, attempted murder, robbery, dacoity, theft, and cattle theft, among others.
Legal proceedings against the arrested suspects initiated, and further investigations were underway.
