HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad police have arrested the murder suspect around 12 hours after a dead body was found dumped near Panhwar Goth in Ganjo Takkar area in Latifabad here on Friday.
The police spokesman informed that the dead body of young man Danish Mukhtar was dumped in the wilderness in Ganjo Takkar area.According to him, a child saw 2 men bringing the body in a mini-pickup van and throwing it in the bushes.
He later identified that vehicle to the police which traced the vehicle and its owner as Jalaluddin alias Jallu, a resident of Latifabad unit 4, and his son.The spokesman told that during the initial investigation it surfaced that Jalaluddin suspected that Mukhtar had done some theft and in reaction he started beating him which resulted in his death.
He added that the suspect had been arrested but his son managed to escape.The vehicle used in the incident had also been impounded but the FIR has not been lodged so far.The dead body was shifted to Liaquat University Hospital for postmortem.
