FAISALABAD:Police contingents have conducted flag march at Faisalabad to keep security at high alert for celebrations of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him).
Superintendent Police (SP) Lyallpur Division Irtaza Kumail led the flag march which started from Police Line and the participants marched on various roads including Jinnah Colony Gate, Gulberg Chowk, Pakistan Chowk, Madan Pura Chowk, Chohar Majarah Mor, Kabotranwala Chowk, Mandi Mor, Park Madani Masjid, Gulzar Chowk, Nagina Chowk, Farzand Hotel, Chishtia Chowk, Adam Chowk, Jattanwala Chowk, Muhammad Chowk, Madina Chowk Gol Masjid, Sabzi Mandi Gate, Agriculture University Chowk, Zila Council Chowk, GTS Chowk, Railway Road, Gumti Chowk, Katchehry Bazaar Chowk, Clock Tower Chowk, Amin Pur Bazaar, Narwala Chowk, Central Imam Bargah Chowk.
Jawans of traffic police, dolphin force, elite force and eagle squads also participated in the flag march, a spokesman of the police said here on Thursday.
