Hyderabad: A polio awareness program was organized at the KKF Medical Complex Hyderabad as part of the ongoing polio campaign being conducted in line with the directives of the Sindh government and the chief minister of Sindh.
MQM-Pakistan MPA Engineer Sabir Hussain Qaimkhani, DHO Hyderabad Dr Pir Ghulam Hussain, focal person Dr Muzammil, WHO representative Ms Nabila, Assistant Commissioner Hyderabad Syed Noor Hussain and a large number of health workers attended the program.
According to a statement issued here on Thursday, addressing the gathering, MPA Sabir Hussain Qaimkhani, DHO Dr Pir Ghulam Hussain and AC Syed Noor Hussain highlighted the importance of effectively conducting the polio campaign, administering polio vaccine to children at their homes and ensuring that every eligible child receives polio drops.
The speakers urged health workers to perform their duties with dedication, hard work and a strong sense of responsibility to make the Sindh Polio Campaign 2026 successful.
On the occasion, In-charge KKF management committee Dr Tahir Khanzada, committee member Parwez Qureshi and Medical Superintendent Dr Muhammad Wasim Shaikh warmly welcomed the guests and presented them with traditional gifts.
