ISLAMABAD: In order to ensure the success of the polio eradication campaign in Islamabad, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Pothohar Nahel Hafiz on Monday visited polio teams in different areas of the subdivision.
He was accompanied by the District Health Services Chief Officer (DHSCO) during a review meeting with Area Incharges and UCMOs to review the progress of the campaign on the first day, ICT spokesman Dr Abdullah Tabasum said.
The Assistant Commissioner issued necessary instructions in accordance with the anti-polio campaign guidelines.
He emphasized the importance of micro planning, target coverage, and addressing denials, N/S, and other issues.
He also urged the polio teams to work diligently and with utmost dedication to ensure that every child under the age of five is administered vaccination against the crippling disease.
