Political differences must be resolved through dialogue not confrontation: Humayun

Islamabad

Islamabad: Central Secretary General of Pakistan Peoples Party, Muhammad Humayun Khan, said that political differences must be resolved through serious negotiations and political reconciliation rather than confrontation.

In a statement, Humayun Khan said that Pakistan needs peace, stability and national consensus instead of further political tension.

He emphasized that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cannot afford prolonged protest politics, road blockades and continued political uncertainty.

Humayun Khan said that keeping the doors of dialogue open is the true spirit of democratic politics and a national responsibility.

Political leadership, he added, must rise above personal and political differences and make the resolution of public issues its foremost priority.

Humayun Khan said that the issues of law and order, employment, education and basic public services in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa require immediate political attention.

He said that road blockades and political confrontation have a direct impact on ordinary citizens, traders and the business community.

He stressed that improved coordination and an effective working relationship between the federal government and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government can strengthen joint efforts against terrorism and contribute to greater stability.

Humayun Khan said that, in the prevailing circumstances, political forces must focus on negotiations rather than escalating confrontation and work toward practical and sustainable solutions to national issues.

He said that Pakistan’s strength is linked to political stability, provincial harmony and a serious political approach focused on providing relief to the people.
