Quetta:Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Meharullah Badini on Wednesday chaired a post-campaign review meeting regarding the performance of the anti-police drive.
The meeting was attended by the District Health Officer of Quetta, polio officials, and other relevant officers.
During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted, accompanied by briefings from relevant officials covering the performance of the recent polio campaign, ES isolation, MPQA, LQAS, coverage of zero-dose children, challenges being faced by polio teams, and other key matters.
Highlighting the issues and shortcomings encountered during the polio campaign, Deputy Commissioner Meharullah Badini directed that effective measures would be ensured to rectify the matters in future campaigns.
He also emphasized the need to improve access to zero-dose children, enhance team performance, and make the monitoring system more effective.
It was agreed during the meeting to further strengthen coordination and joint efforts among the district administration, the Health Department, and the polio program till complete eradication of polio.
