ISLAMABAD:Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Sodhal Faqeer, a renowned Sufi singer from Sindh.
“I am deeply saddened to hear about the death of Sodhal Faqeer. He was a unique singer with a humble and spiritual disposition,” he said in a press release issued by the party secretariat.
He said that Sodhal Faqeer’s demise is a significant loss to the world of music in Sindh.
“I pray that Allah Almighty grants the late Sodhal Faqeer forgiveness and a place in His mercy,” Bilawal Bhutto added.
He extended his condolences to the family and fans of Sodhal Faqeer, praying that Allah grants them patience in this difficult time.
