MULTAN: Under the supervision of Department of Higher Education Punjab, work is progressing rapidly on ongoing projects worth billions of rupees in District Vehari.
These projects include the establishment of a sub-campus of Bahauddin Zakariya University, the construction of new buildings and blocks in colleges, upgradation, and the provision of basic facilities.
Special Secretary Higher Education South Punjab, Sarfaraz Ahmed, was briefed in a meeting with Director Colleges of Multan Division, Deputy Director Colleges Vehari, Project Director of Bahauddin Zakariya University Sub-Campus Vehari, and Executive Engineer Buildings District Vehari.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the identification and implementation speed of various Higher Education schemes under the District Vehari’s annual development programme.
The meeting was attended by Additional Secretary Atta-ul-Haq, DPI (Colleges) South Punjab Dr Farid Sharif Farooqi, and other relevant officers from the Department of Higher Education.

ing the meeting, Special Secretary Higher Education South Punjab was briefed on ongoing and new projects in District Vehari, the utilization of funds in colleges, and other matters. The Special Secretary instructed to take steps to ensure the implementation, quality, and transparency of the work on Higher Education schemes.
