ISLAMABAD:As part of squash development in the country, Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) arranged a squash event for women at Mushaf Squash Complex here on Wednesday.
According to a press release, the event was held to mark the Women Squash Week, which is aimed to raise the profile of female squash.
The Women Squash Week is being celebrated all over the world between September 17 to 24.
A group of women players from all over Pakistan participated in the event.
In the event match, Amina edged passed Mishka Zaman with a game score of 11-4, 8-11 and 12-10.
Director General Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Col (retd) Asif Zaman attended the closing ceremony along with a large number of players, guests and squash enthusiasts. Asif Zaman awarded trophies, gifts and souvenirs to the players.
