PTF, WT Care for youth development initiative

Islamabad

Islamabad:The Pakistan Taekwondo Federation, in collaboration with World Taekwondo (WT) Care, is launching the WT Care Program for the year 2024-2025.

Building on the success of the previous year, which saw the participation of 900 to 1,000 orphaned children who received training in Taekwondo poomsae and kyrougi skills, this initiative aims to continue fostering talent and providing opportunities for young athletes, said a press release.

The program will run from October 2024 to March 2025 and PTF hopes to see a greater number of participants compared to last year.

Last year’s program enabled four to five athletes to compete at the national level, gaining invaluable experience in high-stakes competitions.

This collaborative effort underscores PTF’s commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting Taekwondo as a means of personal development and empowerment.

PTF looks forward to another successful year filled with growth and achievement for all participants.
