PTI has exposed its own failures through its performance: Dr Shezra Mansab

Islamabad

Islamabad: Minister of State for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr Shezra Mansab Ali Khan Kharal, on Tuesday strongly criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over its performance during its tenure in government, saying the party has exposed its own political and policy failures through its performance, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

While talking to state TV, she said that PTI has been in power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for many years and questioned what the party has done, during their tenure, for the development of province’s public and to address terrorism and law-and-order challenges there.

She alleged that PTI’s political narrative has favoring militant groups while failing to clearly condemn attacks.

Minister of state said the federal government had repeatedly attempted to establish a clear policy toward terrorism, but alleged that PTI had instead tried to create confusion by pursuing a separate political narrative.

She maintained that political parties should resolve differences through dialogue.

Dr Shezra further criticized PTI’s ongoing long march, saying the party itself appeared unclear about its objectives.

‘Beyond allegations, incorrect statements and provocative slogans, they have nothing to offer,’ she said, accusing PTI of exposing divisions within its own leadership and damaging the party through failed policies.
