PESHAWAR: Member Advisory Council Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Samar Haroon Bilour, has appealed to the people to help identify dilapidated school buildings in their areas, saying the safety of children is a top priority.
In a video message released here, she urged citizens to post pictures of such school buildings on social media so that the inspection teams could visit them in a timely manner and take necessary action.
She said the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is personally monitoring the steps being taken for safeguarding children in schools across the province.
Samar Haroon Bilour said public cooperation was essential to make the inspection drive successful, as the administration alone could not cover all areas. She asked the people to come forward and play their role in protecting the lives of schoolchildren.
