Islamabad:The Pakistan Polio Programme has warned the public against fake job advertisements and unverified websites circulating online in its name, urging people not to share personal information or documents without verifying their authenticity.
In an advisory, the programme clarified that a job advertisement recently circulating on social media and other online platforms was fake and had neither been issued nor approved by the Pakistan Polio Programme.
It urged the public to exercise caution and avoid relying on unverified advertisements, particularly those seeking personal information or documents.
People were also advised to verify the authenticity of any announcement before submitting an application or taking further action.
The programme said authentic information regarding polio vaccination campaigns, immunisation activities and other programme-related matters was available only through its official website, verified social media channels and the polio helpline 1166.
