Punjab offers over 4,000 IT internships

Gujrat: The Punjab government is offering more than 4,000 internship opportunities with leading information technology (IT) companies under the Chief Minister’s IT Internship Programme (CMITIP).



According to the programme details, internships are available in more than 40 fields, including web development, software development, artificial intelligence, mobile application development, quality assurance and digital marketing.



Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of up to Rs50,000 during the four-month internship, subject to monthly performance and verification of their degrees by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).



The programme aims to equip fresh IT graduates with practical skills and professional experience by providing opportunities to work with established IT companies.



Applicants must hold a degree in IT, computer science or a related discipline, completed within the last four years. A valid Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) and Punjab domicile are also mandatory.
