Wah cantt: At least 11 people, among them four children, were injured after being attacked by suspected rabid dogs in Saadat Colony and surrounding localities of Wah on Wednesday, officials confirmed.
All the injured were promptly shifted to Wah General Hospital, where they were provided immediate first aid along with anti-rabies vaccination and immunoglobulin. Hospital sources said the children sustained bites on the face and forehead, while adult victims were attacked on their hands and legs.
Additional Medical Superintendent Dr Abu Hanifa Saeed said all patients received timely and proper medical treatment following thorough wound cleaning. He added that the injured are under medical supervision and their condition is reported to be stable.
