Islamabad

Islamabad: Coordinator to the Prime Minister, Rana Ehsan Afzal on Thursday criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for issuing statements that appeared to encourage clashes in its protest announcements, saying that no one would be allowed to block city under the guise of protest.

While talking with private T.V channel, he said PTI had a history of confrontation whenever it organized protests. He advised the party’s rulers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to focus on the province’s development by investing in the welfare and well-being of its people.

He recalled PTI false statement regarding their founder health in jail, adding that the party’s politics largely revolved around securing the release of its founder.

He further condemned the KP chief minister for his failed attempt to create a situation in Lahore aimed at sowing discord and achieving his illegal objectives.

He also advised the PTI to pursue legal paths to address its legitimate demands.
