LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Central Punjab Minority Wing Vice President Edwin Sohotra will host a grand reception in honour of the Christian sisters who brought pride to Pakistan by winning five gold medals.
The event would include members of the Christian community from the provincial capital.
According to a PPP spokesperson, the reception would celebrate achievements of Veronica Sohail, Sabeel Sohail, and Twinkle Sohail, who are scheduled to arrive on Monday morning from South Africa.
The athletes secured their gold medals in the Asian Pacific African Compound Powerlifting Championship, and they have dedicated their victories to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
