HYDERABAD:Renowned intellectual, writer and social activist Anita Shah Lakyari passed away on Sunday.
She was suffering from Alzheimer’s for a few months and breathed her last. She was born on 15 November 1974 in Hyderabad.
She started writing with Columns in Daily Kawish in 1994. She wrote as many as 100 topics mostly on
socio-economic uplift regarding rural women.
Anita Shah has hosted over 50 talk shows on various topics which were telecasted on KTN. She also worked in PTV and always raised her voice for the rights of women, Namaz-e-Janaza of the deceased was offered at Wadhu gate near the bypass.
