Dera ismail khan:The repair work on the Chashma Right Bank Canal (CRBC) is expected to begin within the next two days following the completion of its survey, officials said on Saturday.
The development was discussed at a meeting chaired by Assistant Commissioner Paharpur Shahab Ahmad, attended by senior WAPDA officials, including the general manager and superintending engineer, and the contractor concerned.
The participants reviewed preparatory arrangements, the progress of the survey and measures needed to ensure the timely commencement of work.
The officials confirmed that the survey had been completed on Friday, paving the way for the next phase of the project.
AC Shahab stressed the need for close coordination among the relevant departments, WAPDA and the contractor to ensure smooth execution of the work and prevent unnecessary delays.
The participants agreed to maintain close liaison and proceed with the work in accordance with the agreed arrangements.
