LAHORE:A report on the examination results has been presented to the Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat.
According to the report, 721,220 students appeared for the Intermediate Part-I examinations this year. Improvements were also recorded in the results across various educational boards.
The Education Minister was informed that the pass percentage for the Faisalabad Board increased from 55.7percent to 61.7 percent, for the Gujranwala Board from 49.9 percent to 58.1 percent, and for the Lahore Board from 53.7percent to 60 percent.
Furthermore, the pass percentage for the Multan Board rose from 57.4 percent to 65.1 percent, for the Rawalpindi Board from 43.4 percent to 54.2 percent, and for the Sahiwal Board from 54.5 percent to 59.3 percent.
