MULTAN:A female Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) of Rescue 1122 successfully assisted in the delivery of a baby inside an ambulance while performing her official duties in Multan.
According to Rescue 1122, an emergency call regarding a woman in labour was received near Rescue Station No. 33, following which an ambulance was immediately dispatched to the location.
During the journey to the hospital, the woman went into labour near Manzoorabad. Rescue 1122 EMT Saadia promptly assessed the situation and, using her professional skills and expertise, successfully assisted in delivering the baby inside the moving ambulance.
She also provided initial medical care to the newborn before both the mother and baby were safely shifted to Nishtar Hospital for further medical attention.
