MULTAN: Regional Police Officer (RPO), Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, continued his initiatives for the accountability and welfare of police officials and personnel and resolved 5,113 appeals setting a record in the region’s history.
The appeals of police officers and personnel were including Multan, Vehari, Khanewal, and Lodhran districts during last 18 months as comparison, the same number of appeals were resolved over the past 9 years and 11 months, said a press release issued here on Saturday.
Currently, almost all appeals in the region have been addressed. The RPO said that if any police officer has any appeal against punishment, they should complete their appeal through the appeals clerk and submit it for a decision.
He emphasized that listening to employees’ appeals is one of their fundamental responsibilities. Reward and punishment are essential components of the department.
