Dera ismail khan: Regional Transport Authority (RTA) enforcement team launched a special crackdown on the Dera-Tank route against violations of transport regulations.
Following the directives of RTA Secretary Shaukat Iqbal, the team checked various passenger vehicles and sought feedback from passengers about fares and travel facilities. Action was taken against overcharging, over-seating, overloading and non-functional air conditioners.
Fines were imposed on transporters and vehicles found violating the rules.
RTA Secretary Shaukat Iqbal said strict action would be taken against transporters charging excessive fares, overloading vehicles or failing to provide proper travel facilities.
