ISLAMABAD:Exchange rate of Pak rupee strengthened by 91 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Tuesday and closed at Rs182.01 against the previous day’s closing of Rs182.92.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs183.5 and Rs185.5 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was depreciated by Rs1.66 and closed at Rs197.81 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 199.47.
The Japanese Yen lost one paisa to close at Rs1.45, whereas a decrease of Rs1.27 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs236.84 as compared to its last closing of Rs238.11.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 25 paisas to close at Rs49.55 and Rs48.53 respectively.
