MULTAN:A team of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) officials on Wednesday visited Air University in Multan campus and held a brief training session for students on Islamic Banking System before a quiz based on multiple choice questions (MCQs).
The team apprised the students of SBP’s Young Islamic Banking Professionals (Y-IBP) programme.The central bank also offered Islamic Banking Certification and Internship to students under the initiative.
Campus director Dr Ghulam Ali hailed SBP’s programme and said that the certification and internship would help students build their careers in banking sector.
Head of Business Administration Dr Muhammad Abbas thanked the SBP team for enlightening the students on Islamic Banking system and added that Air University was providing quality education to students and those passed out were competing well in the job market.
