PESHAWAR: Provincial Minister for Labour, Fazal Shakoor has directed Workers Welfare Board to timely distribute scholarships among children of labourers studying in colleges in universities.
He was addressing scholarships cheque distribution ceremony that was attended by Secretary WWB, Director Education, concerned officials and students.
He directed timely distribution of scholarships and said that delaying tactics would not be tolerated.
The minister distributed scholarships cheques of Rs. 676 million among students assuring them all the needed assistance and help.
He said that problems being faced by labours and their children would be solved in priority basis, and added that steps would be taken to introduce reforms in labour department.
