Malakand: A cricket tournament was successfully held in Dheri Malakand with the collaboration of the District Sports Office and district administration as part of the provincial sports policy and efforts to identify and promote young sporting talent.
The tournament was held on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Malakand Muhammad Fayaz Khan Sherpao, with 16 teams participating in the knockout competition. The event provided an opportunity for local cricketers to showcase their talent and skills.
The final was contested between Dheri Jolgram and SDCC, with SDCC emerging victorious to lift the tournament trophy after an exciting contest.
Naseer Khan, representative of Provincial Minister Shakeel Ahmed, attended the final as chief guest and distributed trophies and prizes among the winning team and outstanding players.
