FAISALABAD:The district police have made elaborate arrangements for security of Jashn-e-Eid Miladun-Nabi processions on 12th of Rabiul-Awwal, to be celebrated on Oct 9.
As many as 158 processions and 34 Mahafil will be held in the district.
According to the security plan, 2,105 constables, 203 head-constables, 275 assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs), 49 sub-inspectors (SIs), and 10 inspectors would be deployed on security duty and they would be supervised by 14 DSPs and 5 SPs.
Four teams of Elite force would ensure patrolling on the main procession routes. Closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras have been installed at various places to keep an eye on suspects, said Naveed Ahmed, a spokesperson for the CPO office, here on Friday.
