BAHAWALPUR:The district police have beefed up security at churches in Bahawalpur city and all tehsils of the district.
According to a spokesman for Bahawalpur police, District Police Officer, Bahawalpur, Syed Muhammad Abbas directed to provide foolproof security to churches across the district. “Following the directions received by the DPO Bahawalpur, an adequate number of police personnel has been deployed at churches on Sunday in Bahawalpur district,” he said.
He added that the district police of Bahawalpur would continue their role in the provision of security to citizens, adding that no compromise would be made in the implementation of a security plan across the district.
