SWAT:A security plan for peaceful observance of local bodies election in Swat district has been approved according to which over 6,000 policemen would performs election duties.
According to district police officer Zahid Nawaz Marwat, 150 polling stations has been declared most sensitive where policemen in plain cloths would also be deployed besides ladies police in women poling stations.
He said vacations of all policemen were stand cancelled with direction to join their respective stations for duties.
The DPO said Control Room was setup at DPO Office and all polling stations would be monitored through CCTV Cameras.
Arms and ammunition inside polling stations would not be allowed and strict action would be taken against violators.
It is worth mentioning here that second phase of LG elections in 18 districts of Khyber Pakthunkhwa would be held on March 31.
