Faisalabad: A day-long seminar on drug abuses and its control was held at a private educational institute under the aegis of Anti-Narcotics Society, Allied Hospital-II here on Tuesday.
Psychiatrist Prof Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed Dogar presided over the seminar, while Principal Faisalabad Grammar School and College Rifat Naveed, Dr. Samreen Afzal, Chairman Anti-Narcotics Society Mian Rizwan Siddique, General Secretary Amna Akram and others were present on the occasion.
The speakers said that every person of the society should play his role to save the youth from drugs and root out the narcotics business from society.
They said that drugs are a curse and root of all social evils which paralyze human life and called upon the youth to take part in sports activities as it will save them from social evils.
