ISLAMABAD:The Senate on Tuesday passed two amendment bills by majority vote after clause-by-clause consideration.
The bills passed by the House were the Area Study Centres (Amendment) Bill, 2026, and the Centre for Clinical Psychology Centres (Amendment) Bill, 2026. The bills had been discussed by the relevant Senate committees.
Meanwhile, the Senate referred two other bills to committees for further deliberation.
These included the Inter-Boards Coordination Commission (Amendment) Bill, 2026, and the Islamabad Capital Territory Private Educational Institutions (Registration and Regulation) (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
